The Radical Call of Jesus
Chosen (part 1) - Have you ever felt left out, unwanted, or that you didn’t belong? Maybe you desire to be a follower of Jesus, but you struggle to feel like you belong in the church. The reality is none of us sit at the table of God because of our merit or greatness, but only by the radical grace of God. Every human is created in the image of God and is loved by him. We have been called, invited, and chosen to take a seat at his table. In this series, we will explore what this means for our lives!

The Next Generation
We'll be highlighting some of the younger faces amongst us during our worship hour. Some of our college students (Josiah Taylor, Caleb St. Clair, and Andrew Headley) will give short lessons on young people in the Bible who answered the call of God and made a big difference in the lives of others. We're grateful for the positive impact our young people have upon our church and everyone who supports and participates in the youth ministry at Northeast!
The Riddles of the Gospel
Teaching takes many forms; Jesus frequently taught by asking a variety of questions. His queries required active listening and thoughtful consideration. Consider John 5:6, "Do you want to be healed?" and Luke 22:27, "For who is the greater, one who reclines at table or one who serves?" or John 3:4, "How can a man be born when he is old?" The "word of the cross" is folly to some, but to others, it is the power of God (1 Corinthians 1:18). For the gospel not only illustrates Jesus for us, but our response reveals much about ourselves.
