Everyone,

VBS is continuing this week, and I wanted to remind everyone that we do have a teen class that meets in room E6 for the entirety of VBS (7:00-8:45).  We are journeying chronologically through Jerusalem with times of learning, games, snacks, and singing.  Definitely not just 105 minutes of the same thing.  This class will continue throughout VBS (which ends Thursday), so come on out tonight and join us!  You will also have a chance to win a free smoothie or milkshake from me!

This Saturday, July 19^th, we’re leaving for Charlotte, NC, to embark on our annual summer service trip.  We’ll meet at the building at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday.  We plan on returning the following Saturday by 6 p.m.  I am attaching the release forms to this email, and I will send a second email that has the information sheet and itinerary, in case anyone missed the meetings yesterday.  As a reminder, don’t forget to have the release form signed AND notarized before we go on Saturday.

While we are gone to Charlotte there will still be class offerings for teenagers on Sunday and Wednesday next week.  Additionally, there is a Summer Sunday night cookout on Sunday the 20^th that you won’t want to miss if you’re staying here.

After evening church on the 27^th we will meet at the Boyd’s house for snacks and games.

Please remember to pray for the group that will be down in Camalu, Mexico, from July 26^th through August 1^st.  I hope several of you plan on making that trip next year!

Also, it is worth mentioning that no one has yet signed up to lead the Wednesday Express meal for August.  If you want to do it but won’t be around on the 6^th, it would be possible to move it back a week.  Please sign up if someone is willing to do that for August.
