Pat Pugh and Family

 

Pat Pugh, a native of Cincinnati, Ohio was born on Feb 5, 1973 to James Sr. and Barbara Pugh. Pat grew up at the Clifton church of Christ and was baptized there on August 31, 1986. Pat Attended Ohio Valley College (OVC) in the fall of 1991 and graduated with a B.S. in Psychology. Pat married Carla in 1996 while attending OVC. Pat served as OVCs Associate Director of Admissions from 1995-1998. In the summer of 1998, Pat and Carla moved to Memphis, Tennessee to attend Harding Graduate School of Religion and to serve at the Downtown Church of Christ.

Soon after arriving in Memphis, Pat began the Memphis Urban Ministry apprenticeship under the direction of Anthony Wood and under the supervision of Jeff Matthews. The apprenticeship was a two-year program of 30 hours weekly hands on ministry experience with an inner city church. Pat's responsibilities included neighborhood bible studies 3 days per week, preaching and teaching, benevolence, outreach, and youth ministry. Pat completed his two year apprenticeship and his Mater of Arts in Missiology and Church Growth in May 2001.

Pat and Carla are excited to be in Cincinnati to coordinate this outreach program in the inner city.
