We have had a lot of rain this past week. It came down hard, but it did not stay long. That means the workers at the construction have to stop working so often. Anyhow, the work is making progress. The workers started to build the beams to support the first floor for both church building and school building. Not much work have done on the office building except the work under the ground level. The reason is that this building is located on the temporary drive way for the trucks to deliver the building materials for the school building.
We rejoiced with three people who were baptized by Brother Suwicha at the church last Sunday. The are father (Praphan), mother (Nai) and the son (Prat). The have come to church for about four years now. They are friends to Young and Noi, now live in Chiangmai. Many people have part in their study and making decision. They are very lovely people. They are saved!
Another picture is the picture of the Bible study in the store one evening in Gunpawapi, Udon Province. We from Watcharapon Church of Christ went to visit and encourage our brothers and sisters there. We divided our team from Bangkok into three teams to go out with the three local teams to knock on the doors and invite people to come to worship with us. At night, we study the word of God in a home of one of the new converts from a denomination church. The home is a tailor shop. Some neighbors came to be with us. I am thankful for the courage of our people in Udon Province.
About 80 of us are going to go to Nation Wide Christian Camp this coming weekend in Kanjanaburi Province. We and others five congregations work together to organize this camp. The theme of the camp is "Run! Run! Run!" We got the idea from the book of Hebrew, Running the Race. We are expecting between 300 to 400 people to be at the camp with us from all over the country. Please pray for the safety of our people when they travel.
God's blessing,
Patinya Thitathan
