CHRISTIAN
COUNSELING
with Timothy A. Tripp M.S.
|
Welcome to the Christian Counseling page
sponsored by the Northeast Church of Christ.
Over the ten years in which I have
offered professional Christian counseling
services, I have witnessed the power of God
working through me and the people who come
seeking help, direction, advice and therapy.
I do not believe God intended for man to
face the world alone. I believe there are
times when we all need to seek counsel and advice
from good friends, Christian leaders and
professional counselors. My philosophy on
Christian counseling is that it provides
strength, direction and healing using the wisdom
and guidance that cannot be found in any man made
technique or intervention. I believe
Christian counseling should be fully rooted in
God's word and lean upon those foundations for
the healing of hearts, souls, minds and human
relationships. |

In my experience as a counselor, I have
focused and made some effort to specialize in
therapy for marriages and families. I
believe strongly that those institutions are God
designed to pass on to children the values and
moral excellence. In the confines of
a healthy family, children learn the skills
needed to feel confident about who they are, to
deal effectively with emotions and to wind their
way through the struggle of human conflict and
other problems. In an age where divorce is
prevalent, families are suffering and our culture
is sending mixed messages about morality and
dedication to God, Christians need to aspire to
the high calling of holiness. I believe in
applying those high standards to marriage and
family as well as other areas of life. I am
committed to doing what I can to help. |

I invite you as a visitor to this page to
e-mail me with your questions or comments. I
will be happy to make every effort to reply.
I will address questions pertaining to your
marriage and family as well as personal questions
you may have. "E-mail counseling"
has its limitations and will never be as
effective as the traditional face to face variety
but if it can help some begin on the path to
healing, I am excited to do it. Send your e-mail
to tatripp@cinci.rr.com and put the word "Confidential"
in the subject box so I will know the nature of
the correspondence and be sure to attend to it as
soon as possible. I look forward to hearing
from you. |
